We are all working hard to keep our hair good looking and in healthy condition, however, from time to time we’re exposed to issues caused by hormones, the environment and heredity issues that result in hair loss. Today, we’re going to cover a range of hair treatment tips to help you take the best possible care of your hair.

  1. Hair loss: Caused by anything from stress to seasonal changes and medical conditions, men and women alike experience hair loss, which differs from the natural hair loss cycle. For some types of hair loss, hair may resume growing on its own without the need of treatment. But in some cases, there are treatments to help support hair growth or hide hair loss.
  2. Hair loss treatments for men: Male pattern baldness is common in men.  It is possible to boost hair growth in places where there is actual hair growth. There are a lot of products that support hair growth.

  3. Hair loss treatments for women: Most women often hide their hair loss with different hairstyles instead of actually treating the problem. Minoxidil 2% is the only topical medication approved by the FDA for hair loss in women. The treatment can take up to 3-4 months to show visible results, and the product must be used twice a day.

  4. Ingrown hair treatment: Ingrown hair is a fairly common thing for both men and women. It occurs as the result of hairs that have curled back into the skin, instead of going upward. Ingrown hairs mostly go away, but may become infected and require antibiotics to wear the infection down. A doctor can use a needle or scalpel to make a small incision in your skin to release it. However, most of the time, topical treatments can sort it out with no trouble.
